John Henry Boyles, Jr. 87, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023. Services are private.
John was born in Dalton, Georgia to John H. Boyles, Sr. and Ruby Underwood Boyles on May 17, 1935. He attended school in Dalton and Van Nuys, California. He served in the United States Air Force from 1953 to 1957. John retired from Robins Air Force Base as an Electronics Technician. He had many hobbies, but mostly enjoyed gardening, traveling with family, and restoring his 1955 Jaguar. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Carol Ernst Boyles; sons: John Daniel (Lynn) Boyles, Paul Allen (Tammy) Boyles; six grandchildren: Shanna Hutchinson, Scott Hutchinson, Marie Boyles Morrison, Dawn Boyles Morrison, Jessica Boyles Rogers, and Carli Boyles; and ten great grandchildren.
