Obituary of Jose Francisco Miguel "Frank" Montoya

Jose Franciso Miguel "Frank" Montoya, 86, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023. Services are private for family  only.


Frank was born November 1, 1936 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to the late Mike Alfred and Amy Montoya. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force after twenty years of service. Frank was a member of various organizations including the Al Sihah Shriners, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Moose Lodge. He also served the community as a member of the Warner Robins Police Department for nine years. Frank enjoyed watching NASCAR, collecting and selling various kinds of knick knacks, and his coffee time at the Huddle House on Watson Boulevard where he met his wife, Nikki. He also was an avid bass fisherman.


In addition to his parents, Frank is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Montoya; son: Michael Montoya; and three chihuahuas: Sadie, Katie, and Sissy.


Frank is survived by his wife of eleven years, Jessica "Nikki" Montoya; children: Teresa Garrett of Fort Valley, Tina (Tim) Hawkin of Kathleen, Machele (Mike) Morrison of Warner Robins; Trystan Mashburn, and Elsie Mashburn; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sister Sophia Montoya of New Mexico; and brothers, Michael Montoya, Norman Montoya, and Rubin Montoya all of California.
