Obituary of Bertie E. Gedrottis

Bonaire: Bertie Emily Gedrottis, 70, passed away on Wednesday February 28, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Central Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Rev. Sydney Odom will officiate. Mrs. Gedrottis, a lifelong resident of Houston County, was the daughter of the late Thomas and Gertrude White Watson. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. She was a former clerk at her church and later worked at Overton’s Jewelery Store. Survivors include her husband Walter Gedrottis of Bonaire. Children: Trudy Teresa Soper of Greenville, SC and Sharon K. Elmore of Ft. Worth, TX. Sister: Nita Patat of Bonaire. Five grandchildren, seven nephews and four nieces. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Baptist Church Building Fund, 1120 Lake Joy Rd., Warner Robins, GA 31088 or Hospice of Central Georgia, P. O. Box 6533, Macon, GA 31208. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
