Obituary of Pierce Pollett

Bonaire: Pierce Pollett, 84, passed away on Wednesday November 22, 2006. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bonaire United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Bonaire Cemetery. Mr. Pollett was born in Johnson County to the late Jordan and Madie Pollett. He graduated from Kite High School and attended Middle Georgia College and Mercer University. He was a World War II veteran and retired from Robins AFB. He was a member of the Bonaire United Methodist Church. His son, Nick Pollett and siblings Owen, Carey, and Lewis Pollett, Alice Pollett, and Pearl Mixon all preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife Mary Ella Pollett of Bonaire. Son: Ted Patsy Pollett of Lake Sinclair. Grandsons: Andy and Jay Pollett. Several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the Bonaire United Methodist Church Chapel Paving Fund, Church St., Bonaire, GA 31005. The family will greet friends following the graveside service. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
