Obituary of Terry E. McCarty

Warner Robins, GA: Terry Eugene McCarty, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2006, after a lengthy illness. Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM Monday, April 17, 2006 at Magnolia Park Cemetery. Reverend David Fisher will officiate. Visitation will follow the memorial service at the cemetery. Mr. McCarty was born in Perry, GA. He was preceded in death by his father William McCarty. He was a mechanic in the auto industry. Mr. McCarty was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a Vietnam conflict where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal with device and a Purple Heart. Survivors include his wife Glenda McCarty of Warner Robins, children Billy Lane of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Bruce McCarty, Tony McCarty and Samantha McCarty all of Warner Robins, four grandchildren and mother Sue McCarty of Perry, siblings Barbara McQueen, Gaile Durham, Melody Greer, Wright McCarty, Buddy McCarty and Johnny McCarty. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
