Obituary of Douglas P. Robinson

Warner Robins: Douglas P. ?Papa? Robinson, 76, passed away on Tuesday May 9, 2006. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Bonaire Cemetery. Robert Morris will officiate. Mr. Robinson, a native of Coffeeville, AL, was the son of the late John and Virginia Pugh Robinson. He was a member of the Church of Christ, a US Marine Corps veteran and retired from Robins AFB. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors include his wife Sherry A. Robinson of Warner Robins. Children: Melanie Wolfe of Hawkinsville and Steve Robinson of Bonaire. Siblings: John Robinson, Hazel Flood, Mary Kovar and Jean McDuffie all of Houston, TX. Grandchildren: Jessica, Ashley and Jacob Wolfe, Mallory Robinson. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Houston County, 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
