Obituary of C.W. 3 Ret. William Gerald Calhoun

Warner Robins, GA: CW3, Ret. William Gerald Calhoun, 78, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2004. Services will be at 3:00 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral. Burial will be in Parkway Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Visitation will be from 7 until 9 PM Monday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Calhoun was born in Pulaski County, GA to the late Sam and Gretrude Ethridge Calhoun. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley J. Calhoun, a brother, Eugene Calhoun and a sister Sara Conner. Mr. Calhoun was retired from the U.S.Army as a CW3 and served in W.W.II and the Korean conflict. He also was retired as a Production Planner from Robins Air Force Base. Survivors include daughters Shelby Calhoun and Sharon Ricky Nash, son Gerry Judy Calhoun all of Warner Robins, grandson Will Calhoun, brother J.A. Calhoun of Hawkinsville, sister Virginia Henderson of Charlotte, NC In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to VistaCare Hospice at 750 Baconsfield Dr, Suite 115, Macon, GA 31211, the Alzheimer?s Association Central GA Chapter at 301 Mulberry St., Suite 201, Macon, GA 31201 or to the charity of your choice.
