Obituary of Nell Simmons Giles

Warner Robins: Nell Simmons Giles, 79, of Warner Robins died Thursday, April 7, 2005. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Centerville. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Dr. Charles Strickland will officiate. Mrs. Giles, a native of Crawford County, was the daughter of the late Willis Beasley and Alma McElmurray Simmons. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Centerville for over 50 years. Survivors include her husband Wallace F. Giles of Warner Robins. Daughters: Ouida Curtis Davis of Forsyth, Sue Bobby Mills of Macon. Siblings: William Simmons of Alpharetta, Geneva Brown of Fitzgerald and Anne Wilcox of Warner Robins. Grandchildren: Tammy O’Hara of St. Louis, MO, Kevin Mills of Charlotte, NC, Aaron Mills of Macon. Three great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Centerville, 108 E. Church St., Centerville, GA 31028. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
