Obituary of Margaret P. Poole

Oglethorpe: Margaret P. Poole, 81, of Oglethorpe died Monday June 27, 2005. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Rev. Matt Johnson will officiate. Mrs. Poole, a native of Taylor County, was the daughter of the late Newton and Jeffie Gaultney Peterman. She lived most of her adult life in Warner Robins and later moved to Oglethorpe. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Warner Robins and also attended Whitewater Baptist Church in Oglethorpe. She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. Survivors include her husband James I. ?Jip? Poole Jr. of Oglethorpe. Children: Donna Joe Maynard and James Beth Poole III all of Warner Robins. Siblings: Carl ?Pete? Peterman, Edna Holland both of Warner Robins, Frances Murray of Bradenton, FL and Peggy West of Hiawassee. Grandchildren: Kelly Inboden, Courtney Poole and Cameron Poole. Beloved cousin: Sammie Cox of Oglethorpe. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
