Obituary of Richard F. Bauer

Warner Robins: Richard F. ?Rick? Bauer, 80, died Tuesday August 9, 2005. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Rev. Bill Bagwell and Rev. Joyce Payne will officiate. Mr. Bauer, a native of Memphis, TN, was the son of the late George and Anna Kornfeld Bauer. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where he was active in the Chancel Choir, The Hope Sunday School Class and the Prime Timers. He was also a member of Lambda Chi Alpha. He was a graduate of The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, School of Industrial Engineering. He was a US Army Air Corps Veteran having served in WWII and was also retired from Robins AFB. Survivors include his wife Gene H. Bauer of Warner Robins. Children: Rick F. Margie Bauer Jr. of Marietta, Bobby Rhonda Bauer of Anderson, SC, Tom Mary Beth Bauer of Nashville, TN, Bill Gwen Bauer of Perry, Lyn Johnny Williams of Gray. Sister: Mary Ann Turnipseed of Senatobia, MS. 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
