Obituary of Stephanie Gwen Schiek Durden

Byron, GA: Stephanie Gwen Schiek Durden, 36, passed away Friday, December 30, 2005. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 5, 2006 in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Durden was born in Houston County, Georgia. She was a former waitress at Denny’s in Byron and a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. Survivors include her husband Richard Lee Durden of Byron, children Katelynn Margaret Durden and Tyler Austin Lee Durden both of Byron, mother and father Gail and Keith Onsted of Bibb County, sisters Jennifer Miguel Gomez of Macon and Erin Tommy NeeSmith of Bibb County, Grandmother Elizabeth Taylor of Kathleen and Pat. Grandfather Joseph Benavides of Warner Robins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a trust fund at any local Security Bank for Mrs. Durden children, Katelynn or Tyler Austin Durden in memory of her. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
