Obituary of Daniel V. Smith

Bonaire, GA: Daniel V. ?Dan? Smith, 66, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2007 in a Macon hospital. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday in the Bonaire Cemetery. Mr. Smith was born in Laurens County, Georgia to the late O.V. and Alma Barnhill Smith. He was a retired can warehouse superintendent with Heileman Brewing Company and a veteran of the United States Army Reserves. He was associated with the Bonaire ?Spit and Whittle? Club. Mr. Smith was a member of the GA National Fair ?Faircrackers? and a member of the Lothair Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife Ellen K. Smith of Bonaire, two daughters Julie M. Smith of Bonaire and Gina Emery of Vidalia, two grandchildren Christopher Michael Smith of Bonaire, Sarah Emery of Vidalia and several brothers and sisters.
