Obituary of Frank Smith

Bonaire, GA- Frank Smith, Jr., 67, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, July 27, 2018 in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville at 2:30PM. Mr. Smith was born on June 11, 1951 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Frank Smith Sr. and Pearlie Mae Wright. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and retired after 20 years of honorable service. In his free time one of his favorite things to do was play cards for hours with his buddies, his favorite game being pinochle. Frank was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all. His memory will forever be cherished by his loving wife, Debra Ann Smith; children, Noriko Smith of Florida; Hideyuki Smith of Kennesaw, GA; Michael Geelan and Jason Geelan both of Idaho; and four grandchildren, Josiah Smith, Emerie Smith, Leo Geelan, and Ty Geelan.
