Obituary of Dan Levi Cowart

Warner Robins, GA.- Dan Levi Cowart 68, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, November 17 2018 in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from one hour prior to service 1:00PM to 2:00PM. Immediately following the service he will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Reverend Bonnie Conklin will officiate. Dan was born on July 25, 1950 in Swainsboro, GA. to the late Luke and Lilly (Mums) Cowart. He loved working outdoors. Dan loved people and would give the shirt off his back if he knew you needed it. His greatest joy, however, was his family and his dog, Flash whom he dearly loved, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by Martha Fowler and his brother, Buddy Cowart. Her memory will forever be cherished by his 3 children, Danny Cowart Jr.; Sidney Dewayne Cowart (Rachel); Lucas Henry Cowart (Miranda); 2 step children, Doug Scarbrough (Tammy) and Frank Bragg (Johnny D.) their mother, Suzanne Cadwell; 3 grandchildren, Ryan Stokes; Michelle Lee (Evan); Phenix Sage Cowart; 3 great grandchildren, Kynedi Stokes; Luke Stokes; and Makayla Lee; 1 sister, Pearl Rich.
