Obituary of Faye Nix

Warner Robins, GA: Faye Nix, 83, passed away Monday, July 30, 2007 in the Perry Hospital. Services for Mrs. Nix will be at 3:00 PM Thursday at Shirley Hills Baptist Church with burial in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 PM until service time at 3 PM, Thursday at Shirley Hills Baptist Church. Mrs. Nix was born in Morgan County, KY to the late Lonas and Nova Stacy Lykins. She was retired from Robins Air Force Base where she worked in the F-15 Support Directorate. She was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Nix was a member at Shirley Hills Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday School Teacher and a member of the Keenagers Senior Adult Group. Most of all, Mrs. Nix loved her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include her daughter Lara Joe Trussell of Perry, sons Bobby Lorrie Nix of Buford John Salonie Knierim of Montgomery, AL, grandchildren Amber Jim Cleghorn, Kristin Trussell, Meredith Trussell, Staci Nix, James Nix, Tracy Randy Tillery and two great grandchildren. Contributions may be made to the Shirley Hills Baptist Church Building Fund at 615 Corder Rd., Warner Robins, GA, 31088, in memory of Mrs. Nix.
