Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Austin

Warner Robins, GA: Mary Elizabeth Austin, 67, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2007, surround by family at her home. Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 16, in the First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins with entombment in the Parkway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Monday, October 15, at the funeral home. Everyone, feel free to wear pink for the services on Tuesday, in honor of the celebration of Mary’s home going and the fight against breast cancer. Mrs. Austin was was born Ridgeland, SC to the late Albert Ellis Browning, Sr. and Genevieve Mamie Weeks Browning. She was the District Sales Manager for Avon Products, Inc. for 25 years. Breast cancer caused her retirement. She was a steward of mankind and a dedicated soldier for Christ. She was generous and loving in all aspects of her life and an inspiration to all who knew her. Mrs. Austin was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Fidelity Sunday School Class. She was a Companions in Christ and Theological Chat member. Survivors include her daughters, Debra Joseph Hendrix of Quitman, GA and Michelle Joseph Randal Thompson of Warner Robins, grandchildren, Michael Yanosy of Macon, Brandy Will Payson of Warner Robins and Joseph ?Lee? Thompson of Warner Robins and Nathaniel Edd Thompson of Warner Robins, her beloved sister to whom she raised, Andrea B. Christian R.,Sr. Grafing of Titusville, FL, her brother, Albert Ellis Browning, Jr. of Sumter, SC and one great grandchild, Thomas Parker Payson of Warner Robins. Flowers will be accepted, but those who wish may make a donation to the First United Methodist Church Missions Program at 205 N. Davis Dr., Warner Robins, GA, 31093 or the Relay For Life, American Cancer Society at P.O. Box 4406 Macon, GA, 31208, in memory of Mrs. Austin. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
