Obituary of Patsy Lord

Warner Robins, GA: Patsy Lord, 75, passed away Tuesday February 7, 2006 at the Houston Medical Center. Services will be at 1:00 PM Friday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Lord was born in Clarke County, GA to the late James Roy and Pearl Porterfield, Sr.. She retired from Robins Air Force Base as a secretary after 18 years of employment. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins and was involved in the Circle 1 and the United Methodist Women organizations. Mrs. Lord was a graduate from Athens High School. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Chapter 1353 and earned a degree from the Moose College of Regents. Survivors include her husband Lige D. Lord of Warner Robins, daughter Vicki Wisecup of Dallas, GA, son Larry David Lord of Kathleen, brother Ronnie Porterfield of Germany, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
