Obituary of Frances V. Armstrong

Warner Robins: Frances V. “”Gaw-Gaw”” Armstrong, 86, passed away on Wednesday November 11, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday November 13, 2009 in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Minister Robert Morris will officiate. Mrs. Armstrong was born in Talledega, AL to the late King David and Ethel Brown Thompson and was the widow of William L. Armstrong Jr. Survivors include her children: Sherry A. Robinson of Byron, Rebecca Tarrell Stokes of Bonaire, Marlene Jeff Young of Myrtle Beach, SC, Ginger Robert Morris of Perry, Janet Henry Goodson of Gray, William D. Kathy Armstrong of Kathleen, Roger Dale Lisa Armstrong of Warner Robins and Phillip Armstrong of Myrtle Beach, SC. Brother: Forrest Thompson of Dallas, GA. 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her faithful companions Fat Baby and Katie. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Thursday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
