Obituary of Dotty F. Briggs Healey

Centerville: Dorothy F. ?Dotty? Briggs Healey, 67, passed away on February 23, 2006. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Father Fred Nijem will officiate. Mrs. Healey, a native of Rhode Island, was raised in Massachusetts. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Hannah McGhee Briggs. She was a member of the Warner Robins Crochet Club. Survivors include her husband of 47 years Tony Healey. Children: Mark Melanie Healey of Cornelia, Vicki Tony Carter of Warner Robins. Siblings: Frank Claire Briggs, Barbara Neal Hansen and Rosemary Lenny Roy. Grandchildren: Dustin Healey-Carter, Zane Carter and Zack Peek. A Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home followed by a time of visitation until 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Houston County Chapter. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
