Obituary of Hilda Wall Mitchell

Marietta, GA: Hilda Wall Mitchell, 80, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2008, in Austell, GA. Services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with entombment in Parkway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Mitchell was born in Barrow County, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Glenn Wall and Ettie Whitehead Wall. For over 54 years, Mrs. Mitchell was the bookkeeper for Wall Tire Company. She was in the first graduation class at Warner Robins High School and played basketball there. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins. Mrs. Mitchell was a loving, caring, devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, who was always there to take care of the family, whether it was to listen or help. Survivors include her daughter, Kathie Mitchell Mike Chance of Dallas, GA, granddaughters, Mandie Chance of Kennesaw, Shellie Doug Beveridge of Atlanta, her beloved great grandson, Spencer, siblings, Gene Wall of Warner Robins, Joe Wall of Centerville, Jane Stuart of El Salvador, James Wall of Jasper, Ga, Susan Lester of Dallas, TX and many wonderful nieces & nephews. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
