Obituary of Ruth Jones

Warner Robins: Mrs. Ruth Jones died Monday, June 16, 2008 at Kingsford Assisted Living. Born January 28, 1919 in Alexander City, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Albert N. and Artie Mittie Godfree. She was the widow of Cecil H. Jones. Ruth was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Wesley Sunday School Class. Survivors include her Daughter Mary Bill Carter and grandson Hal Becky Carter, Two great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Thursday, 11:00 am, June 19, 2008 with visitation one hour before the services. Dr. Jimmy Asbell, Jr. and Rev. Missy Blumenthal will officiate. Burial will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family my be contacted at 201 Lumpkin Drive in Warner Robins. Memorials in memory of Mrs. Jones may be made to First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
