Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, August 12, 2008, graveside at the Bonaire Cemetery. Father Fred Nijem will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7 â?? 9 PM, Monday, August 11, 2008 Mrs. Boone, a native of White Plains, New York, was the daughter of the late James and Helen Joyce. She was a founding member of the Ladies Bonaire Auxiliary Club who named all the streets in Bonaire. After driving a bus with the Houston County Board of Education for over ten years she began making Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls in 1975. She was known as the â??Raggedy Ann and Andy Ladyâ?쳌 of Bonaire and also had been a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church since 1958. Survivors include her daughter, Diane Joyce Street Mark of Fort Valley, a brother, Bobby Joyce Millie of Connecticut, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Boone, son, Gary Michael Boone, sisters, Jayne Jackson, Lil Davis, Patsy Pistaeâ?? and brothers, Johnny Joyce and Jimmy Joyce. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
