Obituary of Catherine N. Tonker

Warner Robins, GA: Catherine N. Tonker, 73, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2008 in a local hospital. All services will be private. Mrs. Tonker was born in Athens, TN to the late Albert & Essie Teague Sims. She was a licensed practical nurse, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband, Zackie Tonker of Warner Robins, son, Steven Edie Tonker of Atlanta, daughter, Teresa Kurt Birdwhistell of New Orleans, LA, grandchildrens, Benjamin Birdwhistell and Kate Birdwhistell both of New Orleans, LA, sister, Mary Baskette of Chattanooga, TN. Contributions may be made to the Salvation Army @ 305 Green Street, Warner Robins, GA 31093, in memory of Mrs. Tonker. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
