Obituary of Ralph W. Rowan

Warner Robins, GA: Ralph W. Rowan, 88, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2008, in a local hospital. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Parkway Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Rowan was born in Berrien County, GA to the late Morgan & Rosie Lee Hall Rowan. He was also preceded in death by a son, Ralph S. Rowan. Mr. Rowan was a veteran of the United States Army having fought in W.W.II & the Korean conflicts and he was a retired police officer from Robins Air Force Base. Surviors include his wife, Lena Mae Rowan of Warner Robins, son, Randy Hollie Rowan of Lubbock, TX, grandchildren, Jonathan Rowan of San Diego, CA and Kimberlee Rowan of Lubbock, TX, brothers, W.B. Rowan of Nashville, GA, Ernest T. Ellese Rowan of Jacksonville, FL, Jackie E. Geneva Rowan of Valdosta, Bobby C. Shirley Rowan of Warner Robins, sisters, Elma Taylor of Nashville, GA, Betty Padgett of Columbus and Cleo Thomas Kent of Nashville, GA and several nieces and nephews. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
