Obituary of James Malott

Warner Robins: James Malott, 85, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at 2 PM at Andersonville National Cemetery. Pastor David Brighton will officiate. Mr. Malott was born at Hoopeston, IL to the late Edward and Edith Rush Malott and was the widower of Wilma Collins Malott. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. He served in the US Army during WWII and was retired from Robins AFB and a member of NARFE. Survivors include his daughter Sherry Randall Parsons of Warner Robins. Grandsons; Jason Parsons of Atlanta, Mark Laccie Parsons of Warner Robins, Michael Melissa Parsons of Byron and Brian Parsons of Newport News, VA. Four great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church Building Fund, 336 Carl Vinson Parkway, Warner Robins, GA 31088. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
