Obituary of Richard E. Trauth

Warner Robins, GA: Richard E. Trauth, Sr., 80, passed away Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008. Services will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, Sept. 11th, in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be on Sept. 17th in the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Visitation will be from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday after the service at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. Trauth was born in Albuquerque, NM. He was the son of the late Raymond and Helen Rollie Trauth. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Winifred G. McKelvey Trauth, and three brothers, Arthur, Robert and Raymond Trauth. Mr. Trauth was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. and fought in the World War II conflict where he received a Purple Heart while in the Pacific Theater. After his military service, he was employed as a security guard with Pinkerton Security Company. Survivors include his sons, Richard Johnnie Trauth, Jr., Raymond B. Linda Trauth, Sr. all of Warner Robins, GA, sister, Jean Cliff Black of Kingsland, TX, five grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart of Georgia Hospice @ 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA, 31093, in memory of Mr. Trauth. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Warner Robins, GA is in charge of arrangements.
