Obituary of Jack E. Jenkins

Bonaire, GA: Jack E. Jenkins, 80, passed away Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, at his residence. Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday in the Bonaire United Methodist Church with burial in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Jenkins was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Nick Carter Jenkins and Grace Louise Harmon. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Imogene B. Jenkins and a granddaughter, Laura Davis. He was a self-employed truck driver and a member of of the Bonaire United Methodist Church. Survivors include his children, Jackie Pollett of Bonaire, Peggy Billy Mayo of Byron, Sally Nakia Anthony of Reynolds and Jessie Annette Jenkins of Rincon, 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart of Georgia Hospice @ 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA, 31088, in memory of Mr. Jenkins. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
