Obituary of Leo Peterson

Warner Robins, GA: Leo â??Peteâ?쳌 Peterson, 71, passed away Friday, September 26, 2008. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with visitation to follow the service. Burial will be private. Mr. Peterson was born in Watertown, WI, to the late Fred and Clara Peterson. After seving two combat duties in Vietnam, he retired from the United States Air Force as a TSgt. He retired from civil services at Robins AFB., a member of the Evening Warner Robins Lions Club and was of the Lutheran faith. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca â??Beckyâ?쳌 Peterson of Warner Robins, son, Richard Hufnagel of Bonaire, three grandchildren, Kelli Hufnagel and Hunter Hufnagel, Chris Prewett all of Bonaire, sister-in-law, Marion Peterson of WI and serveral nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society @ P.O. Box 4406, Macon, GA, 31208, in memory of Mr. Peterson. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
