Obituary of Rue Nell Kelly Thomas

Centerville: Rue Nell Kelly Thomas, 77, passed away on Tuesday September 30, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday at Northview United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Rev. Jim Duvall and Rev. Stephen Grantham will officiate. Mrs. Thomas was born in Wilkes County, Georgia to the late Harvey and Gaynell Tanner Patrick. She was preceded in death by her husbands Sam Kelly and George Thomas and her daughter Diane McKinley. She was also a charter member of Northview United Methodist Church. Survivors include her children; Donna John Nichols, Kenny Kelly all of Centerville, David Terry Thomas, Kathy James Earn and Franklin Thomas all of Warner Robins. Son-in-law Mike McKinley of Valdosta. Sister; Gladys Thaxton of Crawfordville. Grandchildren; Kelly, Patrick and Grayson McKinley. Memorial contributions may be made to the Relay For Life, Houston County Chapter, 804 Cherry St., Macon, GA 31201. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
