Obituary of Mary Ella Davidson Pollett

Bonaire Mrs. Mary Ella Davidson Pollett, went home to be with her Lord October 16, 2008 from the Heart of Georgia Hospice in Perry, GA. Graveside funeral services will be held on 19 October 2008 at 3:00 PM at the Bonaire Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Saturday, 18 October 2008. Mrs. Pollett was a life-time resident of Houston County. She was retired from the Houston County School System. She coached basketball at Bonaire High School and Warner Robins High School. She was a member of the Bonaire Methodist Church where she taught the Adult Sunday School Class and served on several church committees. She was preceded in death by her parents David Leslie Davidson and Hallie Stubbs Davidson, a son Nicky Pollett, husband Pierce Pollett, brothers Charles, Lesley Jr. and Ned Davidson of Bonaire. A sister Nanette Wills of Warner Robins. She is survived by a son, Ted Patsy Pollett, Lake Sinclair, two grandsons, Andy and Jay Pollett and several nephews and nieces. The family may be contacted at the Pollett residence at 102 Sandy Run Road, Bonaire, GA. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bonaire Methodist Church or favorite charity. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
