Obituary of John Brinkley

Warner Robins: John ?Red? Brinkley, 70, passed away on Tuesday March 7, 2006. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Pastor David Brighton will officiate. Mr. Brinkley, a native of Nashville, TN, was the son of the late Edward and Margaret Markley Brinkley. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, retired from the US Air Force and was an avid fisherman. Survivors include his wife Sallie Brinkley of Warner Robins. Children: John E. Brinkley Jr. of Alaska, Michael Denise Brinkley of Crossville, TN, Leslie Larry Haskell of Washington, Linda Ned Watson of Ft. Valley, Michael LeAnn Earwood of Warner Robins, Margaret Jim Thompson of Mesa, AZ, Scott Sparks of Charleston, SC. Sister: Helen Don Tubbleville of Midland, TX. 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church Building Fund, 336 Carl Vinson Parkway, Warner Robins, GA 31088. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
