Obituary of David H. Willis

Warner Robins: Mr. David H. Willis, Jr., 83, passed away December 13, 2008 at a local hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held on December 16, 2008 at Parkway Memorial Gardens with the Reverend David Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. Willis was a retired civil service employee and a member of the VFW Post 6605 a U. S. Navy veteran of WWII and Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Georgia Umpires Association where he refereed Little League and some College games. He was a great supporter of the Warner Robins Recreation Center. Survivors include his wife; Sarah Willis, Warner Robins, Sons; Raymond Willis, Flippen, AR; David Willis, III of Black Canyon, AZ; Mitchell Susan Willis, Kathleen, GA; Grandchildren; Jamie Willis, Byron; Randi Leigh Wisdom, Dover, DE; Josh Willis, Kennesaw, and Mark Willis, Kathleen, GA; Great Grandchildren; Jacob Willis and Emily Willis both of Bonaire. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to their favorite charity. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
