Obituary of Edward I. Armstrong

Warner Robins: Edward I. ?Ed? Armstrong, 93, passed away on Saturday March 11, 2006. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Rev. Kelly Pritchett will officiate. Mr. Armstrong, a native of Bleckley County, was the son of the late Edward and Terila Carson Armstrong. He was a member of First Baptist Church and the Ready Builders Sunday School Class, the Tyrian Lodge, Scottish Rite, York Rite Eye Foundation, Houston County Shrine Club, Eastern Star, Perry Shrine Club, past Potentate of the Al Sihah Temple and a former member of the Lions Club. Survivors include his wife Helen D. Armstrong of Warner Robins. Daughter; Margaret Louise Wagner of Ft. Worth, TX. Stepchildren; Glenda Patterson of Lilburn, James David Barlow of Kinston, NC. Seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607-1460. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
