Obituary of Ronald Richard Eckert

Bonaire, GA: Ronald Richard Eckert, 77, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2006. Services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with entombment in the Magnolia Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Eckert was born in Menominee, MI to the late Alfred and Edna Eckert. He was a retired Avionic Technician from Robins Air Force Base and a retired SMSGT from the U.S. Air Force. While in the Air Force, Mr. Eckert was a member of the Minute Men Missile Specialist Operations and a former member of the Honor Guard Burial Detail. Survivors include his wife Effie ?Penny? L. Eckert of Bonaire, daughters Ronda J. Eckert and Belinda H. Eckert both of Warner Robins, son Alton D. Eckert of Madeira Beach, FL, step daughter Marlene Mulkey of Warner Robins, two stepsons John Steven Allen and Paul David Allen both of Redfield, AR, eleven grandchildren, Justin Amber Hoisington and Jamie Elijah Hoisington and two great grandchild. Contribution may be made to the Central Baptist Church, Joy in the Journey Building Fund at 1120 Lake Joy Rd., Warner Robins, 31088 or to the Warner Robins Animal Shelter at P.O. Box 1488, Warner Robins, GA 31099 in memory of Mr. Eckert. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
