Obituary of Benjamin J. Granade

Warner Robins, GA: Benjamin J. â??Benâ?쳌 Granade, 80, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2009. Funeral services will be at 12:30 PM Monday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral with burial in Andersonville National Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Granade was born in Frankville, AL. He was the son of the late James A. Granade and Martha Eugenia Tate. He was a Ret. Senior Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force with 20 years of service. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his wife, Mary E. Granade of Warner Robins, son, Charles B. Granade of Sierra Vista, AZ, daughter, Julia E. Granade of Warner Robins, brothers, Dr. Napp Granade of Kathleen, GA, Gaines Granade of Atlanta, sisters, Nell Strong of Jackson, AL, Elizabeth Harwell of Birmingham, AL and grandson, Michael Granade of Goose Creek, SC. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
