Obituary of Silvie M. Pike

Warner Robins, GA: Silvie M. Pike, 87, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, April 12, 2009. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 15th, in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 7 until 9 PM Tuesday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM CST Thursday in the Cook Springs Cemetery in Pell City, AL. A visitation at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City, AL, will be from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM Thursday. Mrs. Pike was born in Pyratom, AL. She was the daughter of the late John William Parker and Lue Ider Hurst Parker. She was also preceded in death by her husband and son, Harvard and Bobby Pike. Mrs. Pike was a former employee at Kmart and had attended the Revival Fire Ministries in Macon when she could. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Survivors include her children, Larry Pike of Ashville, AL, Evelyn Fowler of Oneota, AL, Bill Pike of Macon, GA, John Pike of Prattville, AL, Linda Holley of Wetumpka, AL, Rebecca Massey of Perry, GA, Dale Pike of Centerville, GA, Patricia Beard of Macon, GA, Harold Pike of Pinson, AL, and many grand children, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart of Georgia Hospice @ 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA, 31088 or to the Hospice care Options @ 1125 Walnut Street, Macon, GA, 31201, in memory of Mrs. Pike.
