Obituary of Sonia A. Shaw

Warner Robins, GA: Sonia A. Shaw, 71, passed away at her home on Thursday, June 24, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 28, 2009 at the First Christian Church-Disciples of Christ. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 7 PM to 9 PM, Saturday, 27 June 2009. Mrs. Shaw was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore J. Nahrholdt Apking. Sonia was married to Mr. Irv Shaw. Mrs. Shaw was a retired civil service employee from Robins Air Force Base. She is survived by her Husband Irv Shaw and Daughters, Cheryl Warren, Robin Michael Robertson of Warner Robins, GA, Son Robert Menke, Jr. of Rising Sun, IN. Grandchildren, Shannon Warren, Madison Robertson, Blayne Robertson all of Warner Robins, GA, and Granddaughter Melissa Menke of Rising Sun, IN and Brother Ted Linda Apking, of Mansfield, OH. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of arrangements.
