Obituary of Jack Virgil Wilson

Warner Robins, GA: Jack Virgil Wilson Sr. passed away Thursday, June 25, 2009. Funeral arrangements will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 30th, in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Monday, June 29, 2009, at the funeral home. Mr. Wilson was born in Philadelphia, PA. He was retired from the U.S. Army after serving 24 years. He was awarded 2 Bronze Stars, the World War II victory medal, the Gallantry Cross with star and the National Defense Service Medal with oak leaf clusters. He also was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Emma Lee Wilson and his son Kevin L Wilson. Survivors include his loving wife, Virginia Mae Wilson, of Warner Robins, GA, son, David Wilson of Willingboro, NJ, daughter, Darlette Wilson of Warner Robins, GA, son Jack Theresa V Wilson Jr. of Philadelphia, PA, daughter Rosalind Wilson of New York, NY, son Carl Wilson of Warner Robins, GA, daughter Andrea Aaron Wilson-Harvey of New Castle, DE, special son Jeffrey Casey, Philadelphis, PA; sister Louise Evans of Philadelphia, PA, 7 grandsons, 4 granddaughters, 6 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
