Obituary of James Thomas Lastinger

Warner Robins, GA: James Thomas “”Jim Tom”” Lastinger, Sr., passed away on July 14, 2009, in a local hospital in Perry. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, 16 July 2009 at the First United Methodist Church. Rev. Missy Blumenthal will officiate. Interment will be in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, 15 July 2009 from 7 PM until 9PM. Jim was born in Adel, Georgia to Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Booth Mattie Allen Lastinger. He was preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Mary Fayne Hicks Lastinger and his son James Thomas Lastinger, Jr. Mr. Lastinger was a retired real estate appraiser and he was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. Survivors include daughter, JeanDennis Atcheson of Lilburn, GA; Son, Johnny Lastinger of Warner Robins, GA; Granddaughter Nikki Lastinger, of Warner Robins, GA; four grandchildren Robert, Rachel and Ross Atcheson; three great grandchildren Autumn Atcheson, Lilburn, GA; Carlee and Rylee Lastinger of Warner Robins, Sister, Marcia Carl Duren of Adel, GA. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First United Methodist Church, 205 North Davis Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31093 in Mr. James Thomas Lastinger, Sr. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
