Obituary of Trenton E. Adams

Warner Robins, GA: Mr. Trenton E. Adams, 80, passed away on July 23, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, 28 July 2009 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Rev. Missy Blumenthal will officiate. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home one hour before service time. Trenton was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a retired Civil Service employee of Robins Air Force Base after twenty years of service. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Trenton graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. He was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. In the Air Force he graduated as an Officer and Radar Observer at James Connally AFB in Texas and then advanced to Interceptor Training of F-94 jet fighters at Tyndall, AFB in FL. Survived by the love of life for fifty years, Ruth Thompson Adams; Daughters Donna Adams of Warner Robins, GA; Daughter, Carol Joyner Robert of Gulf Breeze, FL and Son; Trenton Adams III of Mobile, AL. Two grandsons Jack and Brian Joyner of Gulf Breeze, FL. Also surviving One sister, Margaret Pittman, Dr. Walter G. Pittman of Birmingham, AL and one nephew, Walt Pittman also of Birmingham. Trenton Adams was a dedicated family man. His thoughts were centered on his family; all his hopes and aspirations were for them. Nothing was more evident in this than the way he loved and took care of his handicap daughter, Donna for 49 years, that he lovingly referred to as his “”Little Pooh.”” Trenton loved the beach. His family treasured the memories of him fishing waist deep or floating in the Gulf of Mexico. He loved working in the yard and gardening. Trenton was an excellent cook who was known around town for his special “”hot pickle”” recipe which he loved to share with others. Although he is gone, he will always be with us in spirit, cheering us on. He will always be in our hearts. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of arrangements.
