Obituary of Arnold Edward Sutton

Warner Robins: Arnold Edward Sutton, Sr., 80, passed away on Wednesday April 12, 2006. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Central Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Rev. Sydney Odom and Rev. Hugh Kinsey will officiate. Mr. Sutton, a native of Kinston, NC, was the son of the late Rudolph and Pennie Stroud Sutton. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, the Pete Joyner Sunday School Class and the Moody AFB Masonic Lodge 219. Survivors include his wife Harriet Smalley Sutton of Warner Robins. Children: Pennie Lionel Sutton Zumbro of Augusta, Pamela Chris Sutton Futrell of Lakeland, FL, Patsy Ted Sutton Pollett of Lake Sinclair, Ed Carolyn Sutton of Monroe, Peggy Greg Sutton Jones of Dallas, TX. Siblings: Carl Sutton of Virginia, Joe Sutton of North Carolina, Eunice Givens of Panama City, FL. Grandchildren: Jim Drinkard, Andy Pollett, Jay Pollett, Ashleigh Fischer, Chris Futrell, Blake Futrell, Megan Sutton, Kaitlyn Sutton, Joshua Sutton, Payton Jones and Alexandra Jones. Great grandchildren: Taylor Drinkard and Emily Drinkard. Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Baptist Church Building Fund, 1120 Lake Joy Rd., Warner Robins, GA 31088 or Hospice of Houston County, 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
