Obituary of Shirley Brasher Grimes

Centerville, GA: Shirley Louise B. Grimes, 74, passed away Monday, August 24, 2009, in Perry, GA. A memorial service for Mrs. Grimes will be held at a later date. Mrs. Grimes was born in Sylacauga, AL. She was the daughter of the late Ellery Carlton and Gladys Brasher. She was retired from Robins Air Force Base, a member of Central Baptist Church and a homemaker. Survivors include her son George Malinda Grimes, II of Soperton, daughter, Vickie Kurt Niedrauer of Warner Robins, half sister, Jan Ronald Whitaker of Columbus, half brother, Richard Pickren of MO and seven grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart of Georgia Hospice @ 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA, 31088, in memory of Mrs. Grimes. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
