Obituary of Maynard W. Sears

Warner Robins, GA: Maynard W. Sears, 74, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2009, in an Atlanta hospital. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday in the Northview Cemetery in Dublin, GA. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Sears was born in Dublin, GA. He was the son of the late Homer L. and Louise Henderson Sears. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Clay Sears. A retired United States Marine Corp. veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Survivors include his sister, Peggy Cullen Talton of Bonaire, nieces and nephews, Carlene Talton of Decatur, Patty Ed Redmond of Marietta, Cully Talton of Warner Robins, Neal Ginger Talton of Bonaire, one great nephew, three great nieces and six great great nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans State Headquarters @ 4462 Houston Ave., Macon, GA 31201, in memory of Mr. Sears. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
