Obituary of Ernest A. Pope

Warner Robins, GA: Mr. Ernest A. Pope, 64, entered into eternal rest on February 1, 2010. Graveside funeral services will be at 3:30 PM Thursday, 4 February 2010 at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, 3 February 2010 in the funeral home. Mr. Pope was born in Rome, New York to Mr. John F. Pope, II and Mrs. Ruth Annette Pritchett. Ernest was a Veteran of the U. S. Air Force and he was a retired switching technician with American Telephone and Telegraph Company. AT&T was a great part of Mr. Pope?s life where he was a member of the AT&T Pioneers. Mr. Pope was a charter member of the First Baptist Church of Warner Robins and a member of the Middle Georgia Men?s USBC and the Warner Robins Bowling Association. Mr. Pope is survived by his wife Marguerite Pope of Warner Robins; daughters Hope A. Allen Livingston and Christy L. Kahley and Ricky Patel both of Bonaire, GA; Step-Mother Robbie S. Pope; sister Wynanee Ed Hilliard of Warner Robins; Brother John F. Kaye Pope III of Dexter, GA; Brother in law Steve Wood of Macon; Sister in laws Becky Clif Harris of Lizella and Susan Dave L?Ecuyer of Macon; Granddaughters; Jennifer Walker, Melissa Adam Lawson, Erica Livingston, Katelyn Donald Thomas and Keri Kahley; Grandsons; Cody Miller, Christopher Carrie Livingston and Three Great Grandsons. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Flowers will be accepted, however, memorials can be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
