Obituary of Catherine Marie Hannon Mead

Eatonton, GA: Catherine Marie Hannon Mead, 77, went home to be with the Lord on December 24, 2009. Services will be held on Monday, 28 December 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Warner Robins. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. A Rosary will be said at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Monsignor Fred Nijem will officiate. Catherine was born on December 8, 1932 in Mobile, AL. She was preceded in death by her father and mother Edward G. Edna Inez Bassett Hannon, Sr., her husband Edgar C. Mead, Sr. Catherine was of the Catholic faith and a homemaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a friend to all who knew her. Survivors include her Sons Edgar C. Mead Jr. of Centerville, GA; Michael C. Sheila Mead: Alfred J. Heidi Mead of Eatonton, GA; Daughters; Mary D. Dennis M. Hall; of Savannah, GA; Cynthia M. Tim Harwell of Eatonton, GA; Linda L. Mark Adams of Warner Robins, GA; Patricia L. Todd Carney of Palmyra, VA; Sisters; Mary D. Hannon and Roberta A. Buffkin of Marietta, GA; Brother, Paul J. Hannon of Mobile, AL. Also surviving are 18 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to ones favorite charity. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
