Obituary of Mae K. Walters

Warner Robins, GA: Mae K. Walters, 101, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at her home in Warner Robins after an extended illness. She was born in Milford, Iowa and moved to Warner Robins, Georgia in 1992. She was best known by family and friends as ?Great?. She is preceded in death by her husband Ken Walters and son,Jack Walters. Survivors include: daughter Betty J. Herndon and husband Jack D. Herndon of Warner Robins, grandchildren Crystal J. Flanders of Byron Chip Herndon of Pensacola, FL, Melody Stuckey of Warner Robins, Karen Wagy of Byron, Lisa Bender of Yakima, WA & Diane Gaudette of Yakima, WA, six great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Service will be at 3:00 PM Friday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 until 9 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home. Chaplain Thomas Qualls will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Heart of Georgia Hospice at 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA, 31088. The family will receive friends at the home of Melody and Alan Stuckey at 1228 Candlewyck Dr., Warner Robins. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
