Obituary of Danny Joe Dunlap

WARNER ROBINS, GA – Mr. Danny Joe Dunlap, 61, went to be with the Lord, January 9, 2010. Funeral services will be held at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 3 P.M. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 12, 2010. Pastor Jim Murr will officiate. Burial will be in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Danny was born June 9, 1949 in S. Charleston, W.Va. He was preceded in death by his father, Arlett Dunlap. Danny served his country during the Vietnam War in Korea. Following his service to his country, went to work at Owens Illinois in North Bergen, New Jersey. Which lead to his coming to Anchor Glass in 1973. He retired as a supervisor in 2006, after 33 years. He was a faithful member and usher at Open Door Church. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Linda, Son, Jeffery, Grandchildren, Zachary and Victoria, all of Warner Robins, Mother, Doris Kramer, of Bonaire, Brother, Jack Wilma of Bonaire, Niece, Tina Stephens and several nephews. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
