Obituary of Opal G. Cain

Byron, GA: Mrs. Opal G. Cain entered into eternal rest on January 11, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, 15 January 2010 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, 14 January 2010 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Rev. Mark Watkins and Rev. Gladys Bell will be officiating. Interment will be in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Opal was born on August 20, 1917 in Cochran GA. She was preceded in death by her parents Claude Lemuel and Verna Mae Adkins Maddox; husband Frank Cain, Sr., sons C.J. Cain, Frank Cain, Jr., Roy Cain and Brother Felton Maddox. Aunt Opal or “”Granny”” was a homemaker and a strong Christian woman living by her faith in every day of her life. She was a member of Glad Tidings Tabernacle Assembly of God Church. She is survived by her daughter Wynell Sanders of Byron, GA; Sisters Felma Adams of Macon and Edna William Hearn of Cochran, GA., Eleven Grandchildren and Fourteen Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
