Obituary of Eddie Lee Miles

Warner Robins, GA: Eddie Lee Miles, 78, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 16, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Miles was born in Goodway, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Palmer Manual Davis and Minnie Lee Womack, her husband Rayford J. Miles, a brother Jack Davis and a sister Bob Sawyer. Mrs. Miles was retired from Robins Air Force Base where she was a supervisor. She was a member of the Northside Baptist Church where she was on the Benevolence & Bereavement committees and worked in the nursery. Survivors include her sons Ray Wave Miles of Lanett, AL, Jim Earline Miles of Warner Robins four grandchildren Susan Bubba Loy, Adam Miles, Paul Miles, Melanie Jeremy Barker, one great grandson Xavier Barker, two brothers Jerry and Gene Davis both of Goodway, AL and three sisters, Virgie Ridgeway, Jo Ann Hawkins both of Megargel, AL, and Lindy Bayles of Monroeville, AL and sister-in-law Flora Miles Craven of Mobile, AL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer�s Association Central GA Chapter, 277 MLK, Jr. Blvd., Suite 201, Macon, GA, 31201, in memory of Mrs. Miles. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
