Obituary of Betty Jean Brinkley

Warner Robins: Betty Jean Brinkley, 76, passed away on Sunday January 17, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Rev. Tom Morton will officiate. Mrs. Brinkley was born in Vienna, GA to the late Henry and Claudia Barry Powell. She was a member of Oakland Baptist Church. Her son Curtis L. Brinkley Jr. preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband Curtis L. Brinkley of Warner Robins. Son: Bobby W. Brinkley of Warner Robins. Siblings: Charles Powell of Alabama, Sarah Salm and Becky Cox both of Detroit, MI. Four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 277 MLK Jr. Blvd, Macon, GA 31201. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Wednesday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
